Thanks for the memories I used to go to almost every match at Pershing Auditorium in Lincoln Nebraska most of the time for free as Jack Pesek was a local wrestler and his son Brad always was able to get a few of us in to see it for free. I almost went into the trade and went as far as looking at Verne Gagne’s camp in Minnesota but then girlfriend.car and flying lessons took all my time and did not pursue the carer. Looking back now I still remember those matches as the standard by which I view today’s performances. There are no Tuff Guys like Cowboy Bob Ellis and Chief Billy Red Cloud even Stan Parks who had the city bus drive over his abdomen to prove his iron stomach !!!
